Overview
Rail visibility data is an increasingly difficult issue to solve. Due to the lack of a single source of truth, archaic data formats and transmission standards it can be difficult to obtain accurate and comprehensive visibility data in a timely manner. Telegraph’s Rail Data Firehose solves these problems by sending you the data you need, when you need it.
How It Works
Telegraph receives data from a variety of sources, primarily Class 1 Railroads and GPS powered telematics providers in various formats. Our platform combines the data into a continuous stream of railroad car location message events to obtain the highest fidelity available. Utilizing our Rail Data Firehose, Telegraph’s platform will connect to your existing REST API endpoints to provide webhook style updates for your shipments as data is received.
