Senior Software Engineer – Backend

Remote, US Full Time

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be a key player in enhancing the backbone of our SaaS platform. This role involves direct collaboration with the VP of Engineering, where you will co-lead the development initiatives to adapt and scale our solutions for new and existing customers. Your contributions will be critical in driving the future expansions and capabilities of our platform.

  • Strategic Development: Spearhead the backend development of our platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Close Collaboration: Work closely with the VP of Engineering to align development with overall business objectives and customer needs.
  • API Craftsmanship: Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs that enable flexible and scalable interactions between different system components.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership within the team, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Address complex technical challenges with innovative solutions, contributing to all software development lifecycle phases.
  • Proactive Collaborator: Exceptional at fostering collaboration and inspiring action across teams such as Engineering, Product, Design, Operations, and Business Development.
  • Data Enthusiast: Proficient in data aggregation, event sourcing, and API design, using data to propel strategic decisions.
  • API Craftsmanship: Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs that enable flexible and scalable interactions between different system components.
  • Hands-on Leader: Skilled in navigating projects, making critical technical decisions, and empowering teams to innovate and build.
